Q: Will I meet my dog walker before they start?
A: Yes. You will meet your walker before the walks start and have all their contact details in case you need to get hold of them. We also happy to arrange a complimentary trial walk with your walker to make sure that you are 100% happy before you start.
Q: Will I always have the same walker?
A: Yes. We endeavour to maintain a consistent relationship between you and your walker.
Q: What happens if my walker is away or unwell?
A: If your walker is on holiday we will organise you a replacement walker. They will have already met your dog and accompanied your regular walker on a walk so that they are fully prepared. You will have the replacement walker's details and we can arrange for you to meet them prior to them covering if you wish. In the event of your walker is unable to do a walk at very short notice due to illness, we will endeavour to replace them but we cannot always guarantee this.
Q: How do you select your walkers?
A: All walkers are thoroughly interviewed and have at least two reference checks. CRBs can be completed upon request.
Q: How much do you charge?
  • 60 minute walk - £14
  • 90 minute walk - £18
  • 120 minute walk - £24
Double dog walks (two dogs from same house):
  • 60 minute walk - £18
  • 90 minute walk - £22
Q: Do you do dog sitting?
A: Yes. Please refer to our dog sitting page.
Q: Do you do off-hours walking?
A: Yes. Please contact us for details.
Q: How many dogs are walked at any one time?
A: We mainly walk one-to-one or occasionally in very small groups. If additional dogs join the walk we will always ensure that we arrange a trail walk to see that they get on well. Your dog will also be given plenty of canine interaction and socialisation once they get to the park. Please contact us to hear more about what walkers and pooches live in your area.
Q: How do you arrange picking up and dropping off the dogs?
A: All of our walks are done on foot. We will collect your dog from your home or place of work at a designated time set by you, and then return them safely after their walk.
Q: How can I keep track of how the walks are going?
A: Your walker will leave a 'Doggie Diary' for you with daily updates on how they are getting on.
Q: How does payment work?
A: We will invoice you every calandar month and ask if you can pay by bank transfer or by posting a cheque.
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: Bone Rangers is the only company to walk dogs all over central London. Popular areas include Kensington, Fulham, Notting Hill, Holland Park, Bayswater, Shepherd's Bush, Westminster, West End, Pimlico, Victoria, Marylebone, Kennington, Vauxhall, Stockwell, Clapham, Battersea, Wandsworth, Putney, Barnes, Wimbledon, Chiswick, Richmond, Islington, Primrose Hill, Hampstead, Clerkenwell, City, East End, Greenwich, Ealing, Acton Earlsfield, Southfields, Elephant and Castle, Brixton, Streatham... do you and your dog live somewhere we haven't mentioned? Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes. Bone Rangers are fully insured by a specialist pet care insurance agency. Please contact us for more information or to see a copy of our insurance certificate.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If you have to cancel or add a walk last minute, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice. We do try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.
Q: What do you do in case of an emergency?
A: In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately call and notify you. If veterinary assistance is required, we will take your dog to your nominated vet or to the nearest possible one depending on the circumstances.
